Cancellations

Can I cancel my order?

As all sofas are handcrafted to order, cancellations are subject to a 30% administrative and production fee. You also have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period — cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to hello@hausoflux.uk.

How do I cancel my order?

Email hello@hausoflux.uk as soon as possible with your order number and the reason for cancellation. The sooner you contact us, the better — once production is underway, costs increase.

What is the 14-day cooling-off period?

Under UK consumer law, you have 14 days from the date of delivery to cancel your order in writing. A 30% fee applies to cover production costs already incurred for your bespoke sofa.

Returns

Can I return my sofa?

Returns are accepted for unused items in original condition with proof of purchase. As all sofas are made to order, custom-sized or bespoke configurations are non-returnable unless faulty. A £175 return processing fee applies for change-of-mind returns.

What if I ordered the wrong size?

We strongly recommend measuring carefully before ordering and requesting free fabric swatches to confirm your choice. If a return is needed for incorrect sizing, a £175 fee applies to cover logistics and processing.

How do I request a return?

Email hello@hausoflux.uk within 14 days of delivery with your order number and reason for return. Our team will respond within 2 business days with next steps. Returns are at the customer's expense unless the item is faulty.

Damaged & Faulty Items

My sofa arrived damaged — what do I do?

Please inspect your sofa carefully before signing the delivery note. If you notice any damage, note it on the delivery paperwork and email hello@hausoflux.uk within 24 hours with photographs. We will resolve this at no cost to you.

Something is missing from my order

Contact us within 24 hours of delivery at hello@hausoflux.uk with your order number and details of the missing item. We will dispatch the missing component as a priority.

My sofa developed a fault after delivery

All sofas carry a 2-year manufacturing warranty and a 5-year frame guarantee. Please see our Warranty Guide for full details on how to make a claim.

Refunds

How long does a refund take?

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 working days back to your original payment method. Bank processing times may add a further 3–5 days depending on your provider.

Will I get a full refund?

Refunds are issued minus any applicable cancellation or return fees (30% admin fee for cancellations; £175 for change-of-mind returns). Full refunds are only issued for confirmed manufacturing faults.
