How long is the warranty?
Every Haus of Lux sofa comes with a 2-year manufacturing warranty from the date of delivery, covering defects in materials and workmanship. In addition, all solid hardwood frames carry a 5-year structural guarantee.
This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and does not affect your legal rights as a consumer.
What is covered?
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
- Structural frame defects (5-year guarantee)
- Stitching failures and seam separation under normal use
- Defects in fabric or foam that appear under normal use
- Cushion filling degradation beyond normal wear within year one
- Mechanical failures in recliner or sofa bed mechanisms
What is not covered?
- Wear and tear from normal use
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or negligence
- Damage caused by pets or sharp objects
- Fading or discolouration due to sunlight or heat exposure
- Damage resulting from incorrect cleaning methods
- Failure to follow care instructions
- Products stored or assembled incorrectly
- Commercial or institutional use
- Natural variations in fabric texture or colour (not defects)
Please note: These guarantees do not affect your statutory legal rights under UK consumer law. If you believe your sofa has a manufacturing defect, please contact us as soon as possible.
How do I make a warranty claim?
To raise a warranty claim, please email us at hello@hausoflux.uk with the following information:
- Your full name and order number
- Your delivery postcode
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs of the defect
Our warranty team will review your claim and respond within 2 business days. We will arrange an inspection, repair, or replacement as appropriate at no cost to you.
Submit a Warranty Claim →Does the warranty cover fabric zips and buttons?
Yes — the warranty covers genuine manufacturing faults in zips, buttons, and fixings that develop within the warranty period under normal use. It does not cover damage caused by misuse or excessive force.
My warranty has expired — can you still help?
If your warranty period has passed, we may still be able to assist with repairs at a cost. Contact us at hello@hausoflux.uk and our team will advise on the best course of action.
Care & maintenance advice
To keep your sofa looking its best and preserve your warranty:
- Vacuum regularly using a soft brush attachment
- Rotate and plump cushions weekly
- Clean spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth
- Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources
- Follow the fabric-specific care label on your sofa
